With love,
Season one is about altars. Episode two is called: more soon, both ways. always. Listen to it, and let me know what you think.
Shira Erlichman released an essay recently, and two sentences have been on repeat ever since I read them; they wrote: “Everything I see is fragile & resilient, impatient & divine, perfect & in need of work. Whether looking out my window, or into my mind, or at the fourth draft of my novel.”
This episode was my fourth draft, or more accurately, my eighth. I’m left thinking, “Pack light. Make space.”
recommended listening environments: a relatively quiet place, on a walk you love to take, ideally in the last few hours of the sun or in the morning when you feel ready for the sun. on a porch somewhere, in a set of headphones— your favorite. on a walk— to a park— a place where you can see little ones running. somewhere where you can see the birds without prompting them to fly away, in front of a notebook— maybe, in your bed. Somewhere where you’re thinking about a friend. xo.
